Have you ever walked into a salon and tried to make small talk with the stranger making you beautiful? Awkward!

We know that choosing someone to take care of your bridal beauty routine takes time, patience, and a little leap of faith. We’re trying to make that leap a little less scary by inviting you to get to know some of our beauty wizards er – we mean, artists.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Jost, Team Carue’s go-to gal for pampering before the big day. We asked Lindsey a few “getting to know you” questions, and thought we’d share the answers here.

What is your role in Team Carue?

I provide professional Airbrush and Contouring Make-up Applications, Lash Lifts, Organic Spray Tan’s, Relaxing Chair Massage, Gel Manicures, Pedicures and Dipped Nail Service’s.

How did you decide that Weddings By Carue was right for you?

I wanted to join Weddings by Carue because I love Carissa’s concept and her joy for what she does. I also enjoy being a part of someone’s special day, it is such a blessing.

What do you love most about the wedding industry?

I love how there are endless possibilities, looks, colors and themes that brides request. It’s fun to apply new trends, classic or vintage look.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My FAVORITE part of my job is making people smile and feel beautiful about themselves.

When you aren’t working, what’s your favorite thing to do?

I love the outdoors and warm sun!  Kayaking and swimming on the river or lake is a great day!

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself successful and thriving in my business while doing what I love at the same time.

Who is your ideal couple/client?

That crazy fun “I want you to do your thing” type client is my favorite especially when I get to do free handed nail art or surprise them with a makeover.  There are so many amazing techniques you can use on a blank canvas.

Who do you feel you can help the most?

I feel like anyone who is willing to open their arms to me and trust me. I am willing to make them feel extra special and pampered. It is truly rewarding.

What is your favorite invitation style?

I love a vintage, classic style of wedding invitation. I’ve always appreciated the nostalgic look so to speak.
