Tip #1: Incorporate a fun theme.

This idea is a great add on to a more dressy event, and could also incorporate ties, scarves, etc. If your crew isn’t into dressing up, consider basing a theme around food. For example, a cookie swap is a great way to get guests talking and have a basket of goodies to take home at the end of the night. If you’re not into cookies, maybe a glitter, black and white, or plaid party is in your future!
Tip #2 Make your guests feel like celebrities.
Add excitement and luxury to your next event by adding a professional photographer. Not only can a professional get the candid shots that selfies just don’t capture, but your guests will feel like one of the elite having their photo taken on the red (or green) carpet.
Tip #3 Give your guests something to talk (or tweet) about.
Creating a hashtag for your event is a simple way of keeping all the photos together, as well as a way to bring your guests together. Not only will you be able to see any great shots you missed while hosting, but your guests can connect with each other after the party has ended.
